The DiscoverDance™ Early Childhood Program is a series of movement classes designed to introduce children to the creative and expressive world of dance. Each program offers children the opportunity to develop their natural movement ability in a multi-sensory environment. Music, movement, sensory, visuals, and props will enhance your dancer’s love of the art form and the unique conceptual approach to dance education will provide the opportunity for cognitive growth.

Session-Based Program: A space for adults and children to move, explore, play and learn about dance & parkour using our Discover Dance foundations. The emphasis of this class is on inclusive spaces, bonding, and building independence, meaning that children and adults are welcome to participate in whatever ways work for them. This is a great option for families with kids who are not yet ready to enter the classroom on their own, who still wish to be present with their children, or who have two kids in this age range, looking for a class together. In the spring session, we will work on a short combination that you can perform opposite your child until it’s their turn to try on their own—the PERFECT introduction to in-studio performance in a low-stress environment.
Spring Session 2026 - 10 weeks
March 28 - June 13, 2026 (no class on Easter weekend or Victoria Day Weekend)

Session-Based Program: Explore the joy of movement with your little one and discover the many benefits of early childhood dance classes. We will dance, sing and play in both one-on-one activities and group activities in this 30-minute class. Through circle songs, open exploration and gross motor development exercises, children will blossom with each passing class as they grow with their caregiver during this precious time together.

tiny dancers (Pre-K)
This 40-minute class involves creative movement, fun interactive songs, improving balance and gross motor skills, rhythmic patterning, as well as introducing beginning ballet concepts with proper technique. Watch your child’s independence and confidence soar, as our Tiny Dancers explore and discover the benefits of a more structured dance class. Following directions, waiting for our turn and collectively problem-solving will encourage emotional and social development. Live singing, musical play and sensory props will have these little ones moving and grooving with their friends, building a strong dance foundation and eager to return to class each week.

Spring Session 2026 - 10 weeks
March 28 - June 13, 2026 (no class on Easter weekend or Victoria Day Weekend) *This class will learn and rehearse a short dance piece to perform for their families in the studio on the final day of class.

Discover the artistry of dance through structured explorations and skill development. Our year-long classes offer an outlet for creative expression, physical growth and social interaction while improving balance, gross motor skills and rhythmic patterning. Dancers will explore the essence of movement built on a strong foundation of proper technique as well as exploration of rhythms, sounds, and foundational steps.
Mini Classes take part in our year-end showcase on stage in costume in June.
