Acting the Song 7:30-9:30pm

14-Weeks September 8 to December 15, 2025

*limited to 10 participants

In this 14-week intensive, students will focus on the presentation and articulation of a song, as it arises from the scene and from the life of the character. You will work to balance correct vocal technique and sound production with the effort to bring truth and specificity, both to the song and to the role.

Class material will be focused on solos (one ballad and one up-tempo with cuts) and two-hander scenes, and is appropriate for both the professional and aspiring singing actor in whatever genre you may choose to focus your efforts (musical theatre, concert, opera). Accompanist provided. The course culminates with a showcase where participants present their pieces to friends and family.

Come prepared with your first song (memorized and with sheet music for the accompanist - reach out if you need support). The team will be ready and prepared to offer song suggestions for your second piece if needed/wanted once they have gotten to know you.

17-Weeks January to May

*limited to 16 participants

Adult Musical Theatre Cabaret 7:30-10:00 pm

Welcome to Cab! This is a community class open to ALL experience levels, families, and backgrounds. We focus on connection, collaboration, and positive growth — building confidence, developing new skills, and expanding comfort zones. All performers will be featured equally in this inclusive environment.

Sing, dance, and act within a safe, supportive community as we create a dynamic musical theatre cabaret! With hand-selected pieces from a wide range of musicals, our creative team — Allison Beula (Co-Director & Choreographer), Lee-Anne Galloway (Co-Owner, Co-Director & Choreographer), Natalie Julien (Music Director), and Melanie Mastronardi (Assistant Choreographer) — will craft a unique themed showcase that highlights the talents of every performer.

The cabaret will include three ensemble showstoppers, and each performer will be cast in at least one scene and one duet/trio/quartet, and plenty of ensemble moments. Every class includes community-building moments/games and warm-ups. Performers also take on small behind-the-scenes roles (e.g., props organizer, vocal captain, socials lead) to help the show and class come to life. Specialty workshop to be announced once class is underway.

Performers will receive weekly production schedules that maximize everyone’s class time, shared Google Drive and WhatsApp group invitations to access materials, and keep up to date with weekly “show-work” assignments.  There are NO auditions; we spend our first two weeks getting to know everyone.
