Youth Leadership Program
For students ages 11+ in Toronto who are volunteers, assistants, leaders and creative souls at heart ready to step into their full potential!
NxtGen youth leadership program
is for creative students ages 11-18 who are ready to step into their potential and master the skills to become true leaders. This program has been designed in conjunction with Teen Coach Canada to offer students a holistic approach to leadership, combining life coaching, creativity, connection and leadership activities.
Students work together once a month for 7 sessions, September to April, to discover their true potential as creative leaders, embracing their vulnerability, and learning what it takes to lead in an engaging, authentic and empathetic way. Students will take away practical tools and techniques for leading in the arts, clear communication, and creating inclusive, safe and inspiring spaces. Generations Youth leaders form lasting bonds with their peers and have the experience of feeling valued and appreciated in the community.
All NxtGen Youth leaders end their season taking part in a group leadership field trip. Previous years included an Escape Room, Activate & Cosmic Bowling.

This is a complimentary program for all student volunteer leaders enrolled at Generations Performing Arts Centre in the 2026/27 year.
Registration is limited to ensure all youth receive individual attention and mentorship.
Please note: This is a complimentary program for any youth completing their volunteer hours for the year with Generations.
