after-school program &thearts

You asked, and we listened. An after-care program with performing arts programming. Serving General Mercer Public School students only entering SK - Gr. 4.

Our after-care program will run inside General Mercer, utilizing the small gym space. On Fridays, the after-care program will walk to our facility (56 Caledonia Rd.), about a 10min walk, where we will host the after-care program and their parkour class. Friday sign-out/pick-up will be from our location.

Each day includes: Outdoor play, a healthy provided snack, arts activities, crafts, free play and homework support.

All after-care faculty have up-to-date vulnerable sector screenings and are CPR/First Aid trained. We have a 1:8 ratio of staff to students.

Our after-care program runs from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on all TDSB school days.

Monday to Thursday (4 Days) - GM Small Gym

Monday to Friday (5 Days) GM Small Gym + Friday Generations Studio

3:00 - 3:45 pm Outside Playtime

3:45 - 4:00 pm Clean up & healthy snack

4:00 - 4:45 pm Selected arts class

(Media, Dance/Movement, Musical Theatre, Drama, Parkour)

4:45 - 5:15 pm Crafting

5:15 - 6:00 pm Quiet free play and Homework Help

6:00 pm Parent Pick Up Time

Fee schedule

$26/day - NO HST - Charged monthly Sept - June

4 Day Program (153 student days):

$387.80/month ($348.25/month for sibling/s)

5 Day Program (187 student days):

$486.20/month ($436.20/month for sibling/s)

*Please note we require a minimum of 14 children to run the after-care program. Enrolling does not guarantee the program will run.
