Generations is a shared space with people from all walks of life, across multiple demographics. Depending on the time of year or time of day, there could be young ears throughout the space. We ask you keep use of explicit music to a minimum and please play such music at a volume that would not transfer through the walls to adjacent studios / lobby areas.

Use of Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc., is contingent upon the Licensees', also referred to as the "Renter", "Rental" or "Authorized Licensee / Renter", understanding, acceptance and adherence to the following rules, regulations, policies, procedures and agreements. Noting the "Premises" refers to Generations Performing Arts Inc's fixed address of 56 Caledonia Rd. 2nd floor, Toronto, including Washrooms, Hallways, & Parking area. Initial Set Up 1. Complete and adhere to the Rental Agreement and all adjoining Schedules. 2. Complete payment upon receipt of invoice. 3. Obtain studio access lockbox code and review studio policies. 4. Provide copies via email to connect@generationsperformingarts.com of the appropriate or applicable insurance required to run events/activities. Authorized Licensee / Renter Responsibility 1. The person whose name is on the Rental Agreement is the Authorized Licensee / Renter. If they are not the first person in the door on the day of the rental, or are not remaining on site throughout the entire Rental, full contact details of their representative or alternative contact must be provided. The Authorized Licensee / Renter will remain responsible and liable for their Rental and corresponding Agreements. 2. Authorized Licensees / Renters should inform all those that accompany them to take safety precautions within the Premises as Generations Performing Arts Centre is not responsible for accidents, injury, illness or individual property. If there is a critical accident, injury, illness, theft or other incident, immediately notify us at 647-409-3115 and call 911 when applicable. 3. Rentals including Minors (people under the age of 18) must remain under proper adult supervision at all times. Do not leave Minors unattended within the Premises at any time. 4. Should an Authorized Licensee / Renter, or anyone who accompanies them, violate any items of this Agreement or its adjoining Schedules, Generations Performing Arts Centre will have the right to terminate their occupancy without refund. Booking Times 1. Generations Performing Arts Centre is a busy space and there is NO guarantee of early access into the specific studios or the overall Premises. 2. Please expect the individual studios to be in use prior to all Rentals and be courteous of short transition time between people coming and going. 3. To avoid upset, Authorized Licensees/ Renters are expected to book any additional set up or tear down time they may require as a part of their paid Rental. Arrival 1. Generations Performing Arts Centre entrance is off of Caledonia Rd at the same entrance as the Consulate of Cambodia. We are located at the end of the hall on the 2nd floor. 2. Parking spots are available in front of the building, street parking on Caledonia Rd. on set times, as well as free parking on the side streets in the area. 3. Transit: We are a 2minute walk North from St. Clair and Caledonia Rd. Street Car stop. 4. Aim to arrive a maximum of 10 minutes before a scheduled Rental time. During a Rental 1. NO OUTDOOR SHOES ARE ALLOWED IN THE STUDIOS. 2. Smoking is not permitted on the premesis. 3. DO NOT PROP THE BUILDING'S MAIN DOOR OPEN. 4. Be respectful of VOLUME for others sharing the space as well as our interior neighbours. 5. Do not affix anything to the mirrors, windows, floors or walls. 6. Do not drag tables, props, chairs or other cumbersome materials / furnishings across the dance floor or lobby. 7. Bottled water is permitted in the studios. Other beverages and food should be kept in the lobby. If eating during a long rental is required, please ensure the space is cleaned and garbage is removed. 8. Chewing gum is not permitted in the studios at any time. 9. If you enter the studio and notice any problems with the facility or its equipment, please TEXT 416-997-2373 10. Do NOT adjust the temperature / thermostats without prior permission granted by staff of Generations Performing Arts Centre. 11. Do NOT switch out stereo systems or studio equipment from one room to the next. End of a Rental 1. Vacate and remove all personal and group belongings that brought to the studio ON TIME as the studios are most likely booked back to back. Lingering Renters and those that accompany them may be subject to an additional Rental fee. 2. Clean and re-store equipment or furniture to its proper place. A cleaning fee may be charged at the discretion of Generations Performing Arts Centre if the space is left in an unsatisfactory state. 3. Turn off lights if last renter of the day. 4. Lock the main door as you leave. Cancellation Policies + Outstanding Fees 1. A Rental can be modified up to 48 hours before the scheduled arrival time by emailing connect@generationsperformingarts.com. Full cancellations, with refund, can be made with 72 hours notice prior to the scheduled arrival time. Full cancellations, with refund, greater than 10 hours are subject to a $50 administrative fee. 2. Long term recurring Rentals with monthly payments are automatically charged to the Credit Card on file on the First week of every month. A $25 administration fee will be charged for declined payments. 3. Any outstanding balances more than 14 days past due will be subject to a 15% per annum late fee compounded daily. 4. Anyone seen to be entering the space without notice or using the space outside of their scheduled time frame will be invoiced and charged for the extra time. To avoid these charges, please notify Generations Performing Arts if you need to access the space for any reason outside of the scheduled time or to confirm an extension to a Rental is indeed possible based on the room schedule. 5. In the highly unlikely scenario that Generations Performing Arts Centre is forced to cancel this Agreement, a full refund for the paid time will be issued by Generations Performing Arts Centre. 7. Our Security Camera footage is monitored to ensure upkeep of the Premises and a charge will be processed to the Credit Card on file or invoiced if Generations Performing Arts Centre has determined it is needed to cover the cost of cleaning or repairing any damage that may have occurred during the Rental period as a result of the Authorized Licensee / Renter's actions.

In submitting this Agreement, I, the undersigned and, if applicable, the company I represent, certify that I have read, understand and will abide by the facility rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth for the entirety of this agreement with Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc. I certify that my intended use is in compliance with Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc.’s rules, regulations, policies, procedures and agreements and that I am responsible to show care and respect for the health and safety of all the persons I bring to 56 Caledonia Rd. 2nd Floor Toronto “Premises”, including but not limited to the staff and participants who attend my events and the Premises themselves. I hereby agree to indemnify, free and hold harmless Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc. and its individual members thereof, all officers, agents, students, clients, members and staff from any claim of loss, damage, liability, cost, accident, injury, illness or disease known or unknown including economic, environmental or emotional damage or expense that may arise during or be related to the use or occupancy of Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc. and the Premises. I, the undersigned, and, if applicable, the company I represent, will be responsible for any damages sustained to the Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc. and the Premises and I, or the company I represent, am responsible for maintaining any and all appropriate insurance necessary to carry out practices or events within the Premises. Any lost equipment or damages sustained as a result of this Rental Agreement to Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc. property or the Premises shall be compensated within three days. I agree that this reservation is granted with understanding Generations Performing Arts Inc. may cancel if needed for Generations Performing Arts Centre programs. I have read, understand and agree to abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures listed in Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc. Rental Agreement for Licensees of Generations Performing Arts Centre Inc. and its attached Schedules.
